Create Nature-like Meadows in Different Ccolours and Lengths with the NOCH Grass Master 2.0
The grasses' variety in nature, with its different colours and heights, can be re-created in your model landscape with no problem at all. The method for achieving this is doing it "step by step", meaning applying different grasses one after the other.
With Grass Mixes, meaning ready-made mixtures of different lengths and colour grasses, you can create uneven meadows with different lengths and colours, but on a greater scale the area still may appear uniform. In order to play a little with the different types of grasses, you should use the individual types with different lengths and colours one after the other.
The foundation (prepared with the NOCH Grass Glue, ref. 61130) is flocked with the NOCH Grass Master 2.0. Firstly, using the Wild Grass Beige (ref. 07101), sparsely and only in some places. Afterwards, you should apply the Wild Grass Bright Green (ref. 07102) in other places as the main type of greening. Additionally, you should also flock the already greened areas with the Wild Grass Bright Green. Just a pinch of dark green fibres (ref. 07106) inbetween the beige and the bright green colours make the scenery even more realistic. At last, the whole area is filled with the Scatter Grass Meadow, 2.5 mm, (ref. 08312). The result is a harmonic and very realistic devolution of the different types of grasses. Now, the field look mature-like, jsut like the original.
Our recommendation: Try your own methods with all the fibres from the NOCH product range first outside of your model railway layout or diorama, eg. on a piece of cardboard. This way you can gain a lot of experience.
